This project began with permission of the Jigsaw facility in Ballymun, Dublin,a mental health support service. Participants agreed to write their secrets on the face of an aluminium ground. Based on the Irish legend of Labhraidh Loinsigh, this work seeks to engage with the concept of unburdening secrets kept hidden.
This work has already been used by some young men as a repository for their secrets/burdens. It is hoped this will continue to be used for this purpose for as long as the piece exists. This is an ongoing project.
